The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme (known as DofE) is open to those aged 14 – 24 years and has three Award levels: Bronze, Silver and Gold.

Challenge Wales is an Approved Activity Provider and provides a fantastic Gold DofE Residential.

Any voyages that are 5 days or more qualify as a Gold DofE Residential.

Don’t forget bursary funding is available to support all UK residents (aged 12 – 25 years) to jump onboard Challenge Wales, so check out our Bursaries page to see how. This can often automatically reduce your voyage costs by 50% and in some cases much more.

OurAdventure Residentials onboard Challenge Wales and Adventure Wales are perfect for those looking for something different to do during the Summer and Autumn of 2021. Join us if you are looking to have fun outdoors, meet new people, develop your teamwork skills or are undertaking your Gold DofE Residential.

 

 

Adventure Voyage: Monday 9th August (Cardiff) – Saturday 14th August (Gosport) – £600 per person

Small Ships Race: Sunday 15th August (Southampton) – Friday 20th August (Dartmouth) £600 per person.

Adventure Voyage: Saturday 21st August (Dartmouth) – 26th August (Cardiff) £600 per person.

Easter 2022: Join us for 5 days. Dates TBC but register your interest by emailing the Challenge Wales office. You will then be the first to hear when our voyage dates are released.
