The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme (known as DofE) is open to those aged 14 – 24 years and has three Award levels: Bronze, Silver and Gold.
Challenge Wales is an Approved Activity Provider for both the Gold Residential and [new for 2022] Silver and Gold Expedition.
Any voyages that are 5 days or more qualify as a Gold DofE Residential.
Don’t forget bursary funding is available to support all UK residents (aged 12 – 25 years) to jump onboard Challenge Wales, so check out our Bursaries page to see how. This can often automatically reduce your voyage costs by 50% and in some cases much more.
