Our big boat sailing voyages, are perfect for those looking to try something new, experience a big boat for a day and for companies wanting to undertake team building or corporate hospitality. Did you know we operate the largest sailing boats not just out of Cardiff Bay but in South Wales!
Each time someone sails on one of our adult voyages, the profits of the voyage go towards youth sail training activities which are delivered through the Challenge Wales charity and provide life-changing experiences for young people!
Challenge Experience Days, are run on Challenge Wales | Wales’ Tall Ship and are suited to those aged 18 – 85 years. On one of these days you will be involved in all aspects of sailing Challenge Wales from hoisting the sails, to helming, regardless of your level of experience. They are also an opportunity to sit back and let the world go by and experience the open water. Challenge Wales can accommodate up to 12 guests and 6 crew.
Big boat Adventure Days, are run on Adventure Wales and are suited to those aged 18 – 85 years. You will be involved in all aspects of sailing Adventure Wales. Adventure Wales can accommodate up to 10 guests and 4 crew.
If you are a group wanting to book a big boat sailing day then you can contact us to select a date of your choice and we can book one, or both boats, exclusively for your use.
On a big boat sailing experience we provide: waterproof trousers and jackets, all food and refreshments, life jackets, training and fun!

Challenge Experience Days
Our Challenge Experience Days take place on 72-foot Challenge Wales. It’s an opportunity to meet like-minded people, hone your sailing skills and have some fun. No sailing experience necessary to take part
Cost – £100 per person. Our adult Challenge Experience Days are suitable for those aged 18 – 85 years.
