When you do your grocery shopping in-store, why not use a store card which raises money for Challenge Wales each time you top it up and do your shopping?

The cards are great, particularly if you are shopping in-store for yourself or for others or if you want to give someone a gift voucher to spend. And, it couldn’t be easier to get your hands on one of these cards and start shopping.

How does it work?
You register for your card here at the Give As You Live website. You order your card and load it with some money. You hit the shopping aisles and take your card to the supermarket when you do your shop and like a gift voucher you hand it over at the till when you come to pay. Then just top it up again to continue using it each time you visit the supermarket. Each time you top up your card you are raising funds for Challenge Wales.

You can either get a physical card (which although there is a nominal charge to post it out, we do recommend) or you can upload a card virtually online and print it out yourself or keep it on your phone. The choice is yours.

So, if you shop at ASDA, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Marks & Spencer or Waitrose & Partners why not start using your grocery shop to raise money for charity? Sign up for your card today.

Putting the Grocery Card to the Test: Case Study

Sarah purchased two ASDA shopping cards as she was needing to do shopping for herself and her parents, who were unable to visit the shop themselves, and thought this would also be a great way to support her favourite charity knowing that she was giving the charity a donation with no extra effort.

Sarah said: “It’s become a habit that after I have done my shopping the cards are reloaded for the next time I need them. Using these cards has made it easier to help with managing different budgets. I love that it really is so easy and each time I hit the aisles I am donating to charity!”
