Volunteers

We are here to help young people and together we can

We want to see as many people as possible sailing on Challenge Wales. However, to help us achieve our objectives and make this happen we need to rely on volunteers.

There are several ways you can get involved as a volunteer: on the boat as crew, offering maintenance help on our Ship-Shape Days, shore-side in the office or being a Challenge Wales supporter. Our Trustees are also volunteers who shape the direction of the charity and ensure we are keeping to our charitable aims.

Other opportunities also exist for those undertaking their Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme or looking for work placements and internships.

Volunteer Sailing Crew: For those interested in sailing Challenge Wales and taking an active role In our sailing trips.

Maintenance volunteer: Ideal for those with limited time and who may or may not want to sail on Challenge Wales.

Shore-side volunteer: For those interested in admin, fundraising, marketing, business development, idea sharing and other shore based activities.
