It is quite easy to make a booking and we aim to make the process as simple as possible in four easy steps:
Step 1 – Identify the voyage you want to join
Have a look through the website, give us a call or send us an email to find out more about our adventures. Voyages are a variety of durations, and some are planned around festivals or events, others are for different age ranges.
Step 2 – Make a provisional booking
Check our current availability by calling or emailing us and discussing your requirements. You can make a provisional booking which means we reserve a space onboard for you, you complete the booking paperwork and send that back to us. The paperwork might also include a bursary form to help fund your voyage.
Step 3 – Complete your booking
We will hold a provisional booking for 14 days allowing you time to send in your paperwork along with a deposit (25% of the voyage cost), or full payment.
Step 4 – Payment
Full payment needs to be made 60 days before a voyage. And details of how to pay are on the booking form. If you are receiving a bursary then we will recalculate the cost for you.
If you are sailing on one of Challenge Wales’ residential voyage then check out this travel insurance information.
Due to legislation around the sale of insurance products we are unable to make direct arrangements for providing travel insurance. It is important that your travel insurance product covers you for sailing and as a working member of the crew (not all insurance products will cover you for this).
Topsail Insurance provides a specialist travel insurance in this respect for sail training vessels which can be purchased online: http://www.topsailinsurance.com/challenge-wales should you have any enquiries they can be contacted on 01273 57 37 25
